The real problem. A bed-and-breakfast operator manages bookings in a spreadsheet or shared calendar, and improvises breakfast tracking depending on the package sold.

Rooms. Each room has its declared capacity, its base rate and its breakfast option (included, extra charge, or not offered).

Bookings and schedule. Calendar view of bookings by room. Double-booking the same room is impossible: two bookings with overlapping dates on the same room are rejected at the data level, not just in the display. An alert is triggered if confirming a booking would exceed the declared overall capacity of the establishment (number of rooms or guests). Each confirmed booking also appears in the standard Odoo Calendar app.

Completed stays. Actual check-in and check-out, with day-by-day tracking of breakfasts consumed according to the package sold.

Basic invoicing. An invoice can be generated for a closed stay (accommodation, plus breakfast as an extra) — it uses standard Odoo Accounting; this module does not reimplement it.

Multi-company and security. Company-level segregation on all business models, two profiles (Front desk, Manager).

Important — what the free version does not do: it does not calculate the tourist tax (scale, exemption for minors, amount at check-out), displays no dashboard, produces no PDF reports and sends no automatic reminders — see "Bed and Breakfasts and Holiday Cottages — full edition (DYONYSOS)", which installs on top of this free version without losing anything already entered. Nor does it synchronize with online booking platforms (no Airbnb/Booking channel manager), and it verifies neither the furnished tourist accommodation rating nor the town hall registration number.

Demo data: three rooms, ten guests, bookings over the current month (a full schedule), ongoing and closed stays with breakfasts consumed, and two invoiced stays.
