School Management System Lite — free school software: student records, classes and headcounts, enrollments, absences with alerts, grades and term report cards.
Private schools getting started on Odoo, without invoicing
Overview
School Management Lite — DYONYSOS
The free edition, with no time limit and no cap. It runs a school day to day: students, classes, enrollments, absences and grades.
Student records and their legal guardians. The record holds the guardians, authorizations, emergency contacts and medical information — what staff check at the door every day.
Classes and their enrollment. An enrollment links a student to a class for a school year, and the headcount is calculated automatically.
Absences, with alerts. Reasons, supporting documents, and a scheduled action that flags repeated unexcused absences. This is what makes a school actually use the software instead of keeping a notebook.
Grades and report cards. Grades by subject and by term, computed averages, and the term report card as a PDF.
What the free edition does not do
No tuition fees, no payment schedule, no invoicing or unpaid reminders: see the full edition dyo_ecoles, which installs on top of this one without asking for anything again.
Free means free
No time limit, no cap on students, classes or grades, no advertising banner in the work screens. This is not a trial.
Key points
