Food Trucks (free) — DYONYSOS
A free management app for food truck or mobile catering operators, for Odoo 19 Community. The complete scheduling foundation, without the register: vehicles, locations, their public-space occupancy permits, and routes with their stops.

The real problem. A food truck operator plans the week's pitches and rounds on a handwritten note, and loses track of their public space occupancy permits over the months.
Does not install Point of Sale, Inventory or Sales. This free edition handles no sales: its only dependencies are the Fleet app (vehicles) and standard Odoo messaging (Discuss, activities). An operator who first wants to try the scheduling and authorizations has nothing else to install.
Routes and locations. One weekly route per truck, with its stops (location, times). A truck can never be assigned to two stops that overlap in time: checked at the data level (@api.constrains), not just in the display. Schedule in calendar view, color-coded by status.
Public space occupancy permits. Each pitch can carry a history of permits (parking or street-use permits), with their validity period and fee. A scheduled action alerts, through an Odoo activity, when a permit is nearing expiry — without ever creating a duplicate while the activity remains open. A second scheduled action alerts in the same way about a pitch with no route planned within the configured horizon.
Deliberately cautious on regulations. Use of public space, the associated fee, mobile food hygiene rules and the declaration of itinerant trading vary from one municipality and one authority to another. No deadline, fee or obligation is hard-coded: everything is a company setting explicitly marked “to be checked with your municipality”. This module is neither a food safety compliance tool (HACCP) nor an online administrative filing service.
What the free edition does not do
No till: no Point of Sale session linked to a stop, no revenue, no average basket, no on-board inventory tracking, no dashboard and no PDF reports. All of these features, which require Point of Sale and Inventory, are provided by the full edition ``dyo_food_trucks``, which installs on top of this one without asking for or re-entering anything.
And in neither edition: no online permit applications, no online ordering or click and collect, no cold chain traceability, no route optimization or real-time geolocation.
Demo data: a fleet of two trucks, half a dozen locations, several permits at different stages (active, expiring soon, expired), and a month of rounds with their stops, anchored on the month of installation.
