Event Equipment Rental — full edition — DYONYSOS

Paid extension of dyo_location_materiel_lite (free), for Odoo 19 Community. It installs on top of the free edition without asking for or re-entering anything: the equipment fleet, bookings, deposits and check-in/check-out reports already recorded remain intact.

What this edition adds to the free base module.

Pricing. Each equipment item is linked to an Odoo product (product.product) for invoicing, with a default daily rate and deposit amount. The amount of each booking line (rate × quantity × days) and the total rental amount are calculated automatically.

Quantified deposit deduction. The return can withhold a specific amount, with its reason: the deposit moves to “Partially withheld” or “Fully withheld” instead of the plain full refund of the free base module.

Invoicing. Invoices the rental (one line per item, with its own label) and invoices damage found on return, net of a configurable deductible, without ever re-invoicing an amount already invoiced. The invoice uses the standard invoice layout of Odoo Accounting; this module does not reimplement it.

Automatic reminders. Two scheduled actions create an Odoo activity, with no duplicate while the activity remains open: a return overdue beyond the configured period, and a deposit not refunded within the configured period after the return.

PDF reports. Rental agreement and checkout/return slip, with the standard Odoo header (web.external_layout).

Dashboard. Equipment turnover rate, equipment currently out of service, revenue excluding taxes for the month, deposits held, overdue bookings.

Customer area. A customer with Odoo portal access views their bookings and the status of their deposit on a dedicated page, in read-only mode.

Important — what the application does not do (see also the listing and README of dyo_location_materiel_lite): no integrated credit card pre-authorization for the deposit, no preventive maintenance beyond a simple status field, no logistics optimization of delivery rounds, no verification of the insurance or safety compliance of the rented equipment.

Demo data: extends the free edition's data (rates, withheld deposits, posted invoices) so that the dashboard does not start from zero revenue.
