MRP N2 — Shop Floor Maintenance (DYONYSOS)

The Odoo Community Maintenance app handles equipment and maintenance requests very well, but knows nothing about the shop floor: no link with Manufacturing work centers, no preventive plan based on machine usage, no structured breakdown history, no reliability indicators over a chosen period.

This app extends the Maintenance module (it does not replace it) to turn it into a lightweight, workshop-oriented CMMS:

• Equipment ↔ work centers: each maintenance equipment item can be linked to a work center (mrp.workcenter); a work center can group several equipment items.

• Preventive maintenance plans triggered either by a calendar due date or by a machine hour counter accumulated from the actual duration of work orders (mrp.workorder) completed on the work center since the last maintenance. A daily cron automatically generates the preventive maintenance request (maintenance.request) when the threshold is reached.

• Breakdown and downtime history by work center and by equipment: cause, cause category, duration, optional link to a corrective maintenance request.

• MTBF / MTTR computed per piece of equipment and per work center over a chosen period (dedicated wizard), plus a quick 365-day indicator directly on the equipment and work center forms.

• Machine availability dashboard: (total time − downtime) / total time per work center, with list, pivot and graph views, fed by a daily snapshot.

Demo data: five pieces of equipment in a general machining shop, linked to their work centers, with a realistic breakdown history.
