Wix to Odoo Migration — import products, variants, categories, contacts and orders from a Wix Stores site into Odoo through the Wix Catalog V3 REST API. Wix catalog migration, with no duplicates and a rejection report.
Overview
Wix to Odoo import
Migrate a Wix store into Odoo, using the base's mechanics: never a duplicate when re-run, resumes where the import stopped, trial mode, and a report stating what was rejected and why.
Also searched as: Wix import Odoo, Wix to Odoo migration, Wix Odoo migration, Wix catalog migration, Wix Stores export.
The V3 catalog, cursor-based
The module queries the Wix Stores REST API version 3: products, variants, categories, contacts and orders. Pagination uses an opaque cursor, and the module follows the next-page indicator rather than counting — a cursor returned without that indicator may point to an empty page.
Three Wix specifics, handled
Everything is requested via POST, with filtering and pagination in the request body. A connector written on the Shopify model gets nothing.
The authorization header does not carry “Bearer”: the official examples write the token alone. The opposite habit produces a rejection that nothing explains.
You must designate the site. An API key applies to an account, not to a site: each call carries the site identifier. That is why this module asks for two settings, not one.
The hidden cost of variants, acknowledged
The Wix list query does not return variants: the documentation says so explicitly. Each product must be requested in detail. The module does this — variants without prices are not worth importing — and caps the number of products per page accordingly, rather than letting the migration collapse on a thousand-item catalog.
Not proven in production
The Wix API requires an account, a site and a key created by the account owner: no public route allows it to be tested. This connector is written from the official documentation and tested against recorded responses. The screen reminds you: start with a trial run.
What the module does not do
It does not synchronize continuously: it is a migration tool, not a sales connector. It writes nothing to Wix. It requires the free base module dyo_import_boutique.
