Veterinary Practices (free) — DYONYSOS

A free management app for a small independent or mobile veterinary practice, for Odoo 19 Community. A complete foundation for data entry and business rules: this is not a restricted or time-limited version.

The real problem. An independent veterinary practice tracks its animals in a paper logbook or spreadsheet, with no reliable schedule showing who is already booked in a time slot.

Animal record. Animal record linked to an owner (Odoo contact), with species, breed, sex, weight, neutering status and declared identification (microchip or tattoo number) — data that is entered and consulted, never verified or transmitted to a national registry. The consultation history is consolidated on a single record.

Consultation schedule. Calendar view per practitioner. No double booking is possible: a practitioner already booked on a slot that overlaps another planned or completed consultation is rejected at the data level, not just in the display.

Invoicing. The consultation and procedures performed are invoiced to the animal's owner through standard Odoo Accounting — this module does not reimplement invoicing; it builds the lines.

Regulatory — a management tool, nothing more. Identification of domestic carnivores (dogs, cats, ferrets) is subject to specific rules under the regulations in force: this module merely records a declared number; it does not interface with any national identification database and does not replace it.

What the full version adds (a separate module that depends on this one, with no data lost on installation): the dashboard, PDF reports (health record, prescription), vaccination reminders with their protocols and two automatic reminders, and prescriptions with stock deduction. The “Dashboard”, “Prescriptions” and “Reminders” menus already exist in this free version: they present the feature (explanation and real screenshot) until the full version is installed — no hidden features, no half-crippled features. Important — what this version does not do (see the dedicated section of this listing and the README): no dashboard, no PDF reports, no vaccination reminders or automatic follow-ups, no prescriptions (see the full version); and, like the full version, no interface with a national identification database, no electronic transmission of prescriptions, no prescription register in the regulatory sense, no verification of registration with the Ordre des vétérinaires (veterinary board).

Demo data: a practice with two practitioners, five owners, eight animals (dogs, cats), fifteen invoiced consultations in the current month (demo revenue) and a full schedule of 54 one-hour consultations over the current week, split across the two practitioners.
