Veterinary Practice (DYONYSOS)

Management app for a small independent or mobile veterinary practice, for Odoo 19 Community. This module depends on the free module “Veterinary Practices — animal records, consultations and scheduling (free)” (dyo_veterinaires_lite) and installs on top of it: all animal records, owners, consultations and schedules already recorded stay exactly as they are; no existing table or field is changed. This module only adds the dashboard, vaccination reminders and their follow-ups, prescriptions, and PDF reports.

The real problem. The free module already covers animal records, scheduling without double booking and consultation invoicing. But a practice also needs to track vaccine reminders without discovering a delay at the next consultation, and to issue prescriptions without re-entering stock deductions by hand.

Vaccination and boosters. Each vaccine administered is linked to a configurable protocol (name, species, booster interval in months) that automatically calculates the next booster date. A scheduled reminder (vaccine, dewormer, or annual check-up) follows a status, and two scheduled actions each create an Odoo activity for the team — never creating a second one while the previous one is still open — for a vaccination booster that is approaching or overdue, and for an annual check-up that has not taken place. A reminder email is sent to the owner before the due date, if this option is enabled in the settings.

Prescriptions and stock. A prescription linked to a consultation lists the medicines prescribed (dosage, treatment duration, quantity). Dispensing it automatically deducts the stock of the medicines and vaccines concerned (Odoo Inventory).

PDF reports. The animal's health and vaccination record (full history) and a printable prescription — two documents, generated from the animal's file or from the prescription.

Dashboard. Active animals, consultations this month, revenue this month, overdue vaccination reminders, reminders due within 15 days (configurable period), prescriptions issued this month.

The commercial approach: features visible, not hidden. The “Dashboard”, “Prescriptions” and “Reminders” menus already exist in the free module and show the feature (explanation and real screenshot) before purchase. This module only replaces their content with the real screens — the menu does not move.

Regulatory — a management tool, nothing more, everything is configurable. The practice of veterinary medicine is reserved for veterinarians registered with the Ordre national des vétérinaires (French veterinary regulatory body): this module does not verify any registration. No numeric regulatory deadline is asserted in this listing or in the interface: reminder intervals are default management protocols, which can be changed, not a medical prescription or a legal obligation.

Important — what the application does not do (see the dedicated section of this listing and the README): no interface with a national identification database, no electronic transmission of prescriptions, no prescription register in the regulatory sense, no pharmacovigilance management, no verification of registration with the Ordre des vétérinaires (veterinary board), no veterinary medical record interoperability format.

Demo data: extends the free module's data with administered vaccines (including one booster deliberately overdue), dispensed prescriptions with stock deduction and one in draft, and deworming and checkup reminders — on the same animals, without recreating any of them.
