School Management — DYONYSOS

The “tuition fees” extension of the free edition dyo_ecoles_lite. Students, classes, enrollments, absences and grades come from the free module; this one adds payment schedules, invoicing and tracking of unpaid amounts.

An administrative management app for an independent (hors contrat) or association-run private school, for Odoo 19 Community.

Student records. Student record with one or two legal guardians, a payer and emergency contacts (mixin dyo.metiers.beneficiary.mixin from the dyo_metiers_common base module).

Classes and enrollments. Class/grade per school year, with a maximum headcount checked automatically when an enrollment is confirmed. An enrollment covers a period of the school year; overlapping active enrollments for the same student are detected and refused.

Grades. Grade entry by subject and by period (term), with a weighting coefficient, and calculation of a simple weighted average — no skills tracking or common core framework.

Absences and late arrivals. Recording of absences (with a reason shared from the foundation, excused or not) and late arrivals (in minutes), with the planned duration calculated automatically for absences.

Tuition fees. Monthly or quarterly payment schedule per student, with an annual amount resolved automatically from a price grid in the base (scale by quotient/siblings) or entered manually. Automatic invoicing of each installment as it falls due (daily scheduled action), or triggered manually.

Unpaid fee reminders. A daily scheduled action identifies installments left unpaid beyond the configured grace period and schedules an Odoo activity on the payer for the office staff. Only one reminder per installment while that activity remains open, and a configurable maximum number of reminders. The application never contacts the family on its own initiative: email, phone or letter remain a human action.

Segregated access rights. A teacher enters grades and absences for their own classes but has no access to tuition fees or family invoicing: this is not a mere menu restriction — access to the model itself is denied at the access-rights level.

Important — what the application does not do (see the dedicated section of this listing and the README): no digital school report book compliant with Éducation nationale formats, no class logbook or advanced teaching management, no electronic filing of enrollment numbers, no canteen/after-school care management.

PDF reports. Transcript and absence report per student, and a list of unpaid tuition fees per class — the latter accessible to the school office only.

Demo data: two classes over one school year, five students with their guardians, confirmed enrollments, grades in two subjects over two terms, absences and a late arrival, and two tuition payment schedules (monthly and quarterly) already confirmed and generated, ready to invoice.
