Driving School Management — DYONYSOS

Management app for a driving school with a handful of instructors, for Odoo 19 Community. This module depends on the free module “Driving School Management — students, packages and scheduling (free)” (`dyo_auto_ecoles_lite`) and installs on top of it: all student files, packages, lessons, exams and documents already recorded stay exactly as they are; no existing table or field is changed. This module only adds the dashboard, PDF reports, automatic reminders and the student portal.

The real problem. A small school with a few instructors tracks its students, hour packages and schedule with a paper or shared calendar and a separate hours spreadsheet: no one can see at a glance who has run out of hours, who has not come in three weeks, or whether an instructor or vehicle is already booked in a time slot.

The free module already covers student records, hour-based packages with hour tracking and invoicing, double-booking-free scheduling, progress tracking and exams. This paid module adds the management tools that cannot be rebuilt by hand in a spreadsheet:

Automatic reminders. Three scheduled actions create an Odoo activity for the manager: a student with no lesson for a configurable number of weeks, a package whose remaining hours fall below a configurable threshold, and a theory test pass whose calculated expiry date is approaching.

PDF reports. Training agreement, progress booklet, internal certificate of completion — the invoice uses the standard invoice layout of Odoo Accounting; this module does not reimplement it.

Dashboard and KPIs. Students in training, hours sold versus used, revenue for the month, pass rates for the theory test and the driving test, late cancellation rate, average hours used before passing the driving test. Per-instructor KPIs (pass rate, late cancellation rate) complement the instructor record of the free module.

Student area. A student with Odoo portal access views their remaining hours and upcoming lessons on a dedicated page, in read-only mode.

Regulatory — everything is configurable, nothing is hard-coded. The prefectoral approval (number, prefecture, expiry date), the validity period of the general theory test (code) and the rules for presenting candidates for the exam change over time and vary between prefectures: this module exposes default values clearly marked “to be checked” in the company settings (free module), and asserts no regulatory figure in this listing or in the interface. Always check the current values with your prefecture before relying on them.

Important — what the application does not do (see the dedicated section of this listing and the README): no electronic transmission with the NEPH or any official examination system, no CERFA document generation, no integrated online payment, no advanced fleet management (predictive maintenance, telematics), no automated regulatory compliance tracking — approval and theory test deadlines are management reminders, not a certification.
