Free investor reporting pack for Odoo 19 Community: build the periodic shareholder report from posted accounting entries — revenue, gross margin, net result, cash, receivables, payables, equity — each figure showing the account types it was summed from, compared with the previous period of equal length, and exported to a three-sheet Excel workbook with monthly series ready to chart.
Overview
Investor pack — the figures come from the ERP, not the spreadsheet
Periodic shareholder reporting is done in spreadsheets. You export, copy over, format, and the gap between the spreadsheet and the accounting is discovered in the meeting — in front of the shareholders.
This module reads the database's posted entries and produces a periodic report pack from them. Nothing is re-entered. Recomputing a report pack does not require redoing any layout.

What the free version produces
Eleven indicators, read from the general ledger. Revenue, cost of sales, gross margin and gross margin rate, operating expenses, net income, closing cash, change in cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, equity. For a loss-making period, the number of months covered by cash is added — a division, not a forecast, and the report says so.
Every figure states where it comes from. A “Provenance” column holds, for each indicator, the sentence naming the account types that are summed and the sign of the balance. It is what you reread when a figure is surprising, and it is what a spreadsheet never carries.
Comparison is over the same length of time. A quarter is compared with the previous quarter, a month with the previous month: the comparison period is calculated over the exact duration of the report, immediately before it. And when the previous period was zero, the change shows “new” rather than an invented percentage.
A three-sheet Excel workbook. Summary by section, monthly series laid out one month per row — the layout expected by the chart wizard in Excel as well as in LibreOffice — and data provenance. Amounts carry the symbol of the company currency, because a bare “120,000” is read in the reader's own currency.
The module installs even without xlsxwriter. When the library is missing, the file is exported as CSV, the screen says so before download and the file repeats it on its first line. Refusing to install, or silently delivering a CSV, are two ways of misleading users.
What the full version adds
A separate module, “Investor Pack (DYONYSOS)”, depends on this one and loses nothing on installation: PDF editions with their charts, PowerPoint export, customizable pack templates, recurrence with automatic generation of the next pack, and the cap table as an optional component.
What the module does not do
It certifies nothing. This file is a management statement: it is not annual financial statements, not an attested interim statement, and not a valuation. It makes no forecast, recommends no decision and has not been tested against any regulatory reporting standard. It does not replace the Odoo Enterprise financial reports (account_reports module): it aggregates balances by account type, which Community exposes in a portable way, and does not rebuild a reporting engine.
